   3.5 GB, but since 64-bit uses extra RAM (at least on Vista) and is less compatible with my programs, less stable with overclocking (therefore the performance is nearly exact on par with 32-bit) and when you round all this up the marginal benefits are negligible and 32-bit is the way to go for the next few years at least.

   you should go 64-bit because of your 4GB of ram, in 32-bit you will only be able to use around 3GBytes of your RAM

   I think these new operating systems (7, ubuntu 9.10, snow leopard ) run all fine!
   xp has 10 years old even with upgrade…
   the only problem with 7 is that you must install a fuckin antivirus, but it seem do well, nothing compare with vista

    Should I go 32 bit or 64?
    I have a p4 prescott 3.2 @ 4 ghz and 4 GB DDR2 800 mhz RAM, 80 GB seagate IDE HDD.

    Hallo,
    Hab mal eine Frage zu Windows 7 64-bit
    Läuft Windows 7 64-bit auf volgender Hardware:
    AMD phenom Dual Core mit 2x 2.6 Ghz
    3072gb Ram von Samsung 800chanel
    und 250GB Festplatte
    (Das ist mein Computer und ich würde mir gerne ein 64-bit System Zulegen)
    Bitte Helft MIr!!!!
