    Win7 or any other OS has in my personal Opinion no value at all. It should be free like the Linux Distrubutions. I downloaded it on a Warez-Site and it runs perfectly.

    You guys still don’t understand? Windows made Vista badly on purpose. They made vista just to make some money, while attract the vista users to again buy windows 7, Microsoft makes more money. It’s all about profit.

    It’s a good overview. Introduction, functionality of each new and replaced features, and the price is good.
    Windows maybe expensive but MS offers a good features and improvements for the home users and business purpose.

    Staying with vista for a bit maybe until the middle of next year. Never really had any problems with vista yet.

    Windows 7 is just Vista with SP3; you can give a monkey some make-up, but it’s still a monkey.

    @kkrizzz
    i would recommend windows xp for 3d stuff, because most of the programs take alot of virtual memory… and did you see how much memory windows 7 take on just running the desktop 1.8gig… vindows xp takes 200bm… and all of that memory is being processed by the processor… you will have alot better performance on core 2 duo xp than on a core 2 quad windows 7.

    I’m building a new computer, for casual gaming photoshop, 3d stuff etc. What is best XP or Windows 7? I can get them both for free via my work so don’t think about the price

  24. burfine says on: 14 November 2009 at 11:34 am

    He is right about the price though… Windows 7 has some fun features, but the price tag is outrageous.

    XP is great; I think I will PASS on Win 7 until they offer a realistic pricing model.

    Also; given that 7 in not faster than Vista (barely any noticeable change in benchmarking) I see paying hundreds of dollars for lag to be a bad idea…
