I am not planing to work with games or IT at all, but the concepts and models discussed here are just sublime to be familiar with. Now I need some time to process this mass of knowledge
Will Wright is certainly AAA+++ expert in his area.

i just want to know wat things should i study in school im a freak with games
ye
thanks,
Try Blitzmax it’ll give you a good introduction to programming games, it’s a nice language to use and your finished game will be almost as fast as if it were created in C/C++ and more importantly start with small games working your way up to more difficult types of games, blackjack.tetris etc and remember always plan your game in a notebook before you even write your first piece of code
i think it’s not realistic enough, i tried something more fresh, i’m playing already recently this one –> floprk. com/download
he seems a lot better than his looks
U could start with the free program GameMaker (Try to google it)… That’s the program I started with when I was your age.
the text in the paint window said Dusara Program
Meaning another program
it was in Urdu the national language of National Republic of Pakistan
Dude. For reals, best thing you can do is get TurboPASCAL (for free online) and learn it. You won’t start at an FPS, just cause it’s so complex, you’ll finish half a room and give up. I started programming when I was 8. Start with the most basic, and as you learn more, do more things with your games. Don’t start big and crazy.
ie. Start with a text-based RPG. If you don’t know what that is, google it, there’s tons of good examples. Good luck brother! Stay motivated!
Thank you for te info dude very help full one more thing im 12 years old and i want to design a game i tryed sim city its was fun then it got boring. where should i start to design a game?? for first person shooter. P.S the vid siad RUM be hind you.
its a hard road to be a game designer, you have to be either a programmer,QA,or artist for 3 or 4 years in the industry before you even have a chance.
3 designers or so per mid sized company = very competitve.
