There are times when we encounter problem with our computer, and one of the most common problems that Windows-based users have are those associated with Dynamic Link Library files (DLL). However, DLL error repair is not so difficult if you know what you are doing.

The essential component of all applications and programs are DLL files, without these, applications and programs will not run properly. Most of the time, DLL files are accidentally deleted or corrupted when we uninstall a program, and another cause of these errors are viruses that infects your computer. The good news is that there are several solutions that you can take to fix these types of errors.

In some cases, DLL errors are associated with an individual program, so all you have to do is know the program that is causing the error, you can do this by opening different programs and look which program will pop up a DLL error. For example, if you are experiencing errors each time you try to open Adobe Photoshop (for example), it is obvious that you are having the problem with Adobe. A simple solution is to reinstall the program and look for updates on manufacturer’s website, most of the time reinstalling the program solves the problem because you are also reinstalling the DLL file.

Another trick is to use the system restore function, you can try to initiate the system restore prior to the date when the DLL error occurred. A simple system restore can correct DLL error. But if you can’t run your windows normally because of the DLL error, try to run your computer in safe mode and then initiate system restore.

An error could also appear when you have recently installed a new program. For example, you have installed a new online game and you started to experience problems. When it happens, go to the website that associates with the game and check if there are new updates, download them afterwards.

Spyware may also be the cause of such errors, so if you think this is the problem, install anti-spyware software and initiate scan to remove viruses and spyware on your computer. This simple tip will help you save money from looking for a tech to fix DLL errors.
